Tater Bake

Tater Bake

1 lb ground beef, preferably grass fed

1Tbs. Butter

1 medium organic onion diced

32oz bag organic tater tots (preferably Alexia brand)

1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup

1/2 cup organic milk

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat oven 350 degrees.

In a large pan sauté diced onion in butter until slightly golden.  Add ground beef, season with salt & pepper and cook until meat is no longer pink. Drain any fat from meat.

In a 13×9 pan sprayed with Pam, spread out beef mixture, then spread tater tots on top of meat mixture.

In a medium bowl pour soup and milk. Whisk until incorporated then pour evenly over tater tots and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.

bake uncovered 25 to 30 minutes until tater tots are golden and cheese is melted.
